About Me
Hi, I'm Stephany
I'm a writer, artist, student, entrepreneur, and homelessness advocate from Oakland, California. My work exists at the intersection of lived experience, public policy, technology, and storytelling. I believe the people closest to a problem should have the strongest voice in creating the solution.
For the past several years, I've experienced homelessness firsthand. Those experiences transformed the way I view housing, government, and the systems designed to help people. Rather than allowing those challenges to define me, they've inspired me to advocate for more effective, compassionate, and accountable solutions that center the voices of people with lived experience.
I'm currently completing my bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Humanities with an emphasis in Communications at Georgetown University while serving on local and national committees focused on homelessness and housing policy. My goal is to help bridge the gap between policymakers, service providers, researchers, and people experiencing homelessness so that better decisions are made through collaboration, transparency, and lived expertise.
Alongside my advocacy work, I'm passionate about building technology that helps people create better futures.
Thank you for being here. I hope my story, my projects, and my advocacy encourage you to see problems differently, challenge assumptions, and become part of creating meaningful change.

Current Projects
A platform designed to amplify the experiences, ideas, and solutions of people experiencing homelessness while providing meaningful insights for nonprofits, researchers, community organizations, and policymakers. My vision is to transform lived experience into actionable data that leads to better policy and more effective services.
An AI-powered career and income planning platform built for people who need personalized guidance, not generic advice. Whether someone is unemployed, underemployed, changing careers, or simply looking for additional income opportunities, PathFinder AI creates a customized action plan based on their unique situation.
Beyond these projects, I enjoy exploring the ways artificial intelligence, technology, and community collaboration can solve real-world problems. Whether I'm writing, painting, learning, or sketching, I'm always searching for ways to turn ideas into impact.
This blog is where I document that journey, the successes, the setbacks, the lessons, and everything in between. You'll find articles about homelessness, public policy, entrepreneurship, AI, productivity, creativity, education, and what it's really like to build a better future while navigating life's challenges.
I believe that lived experience is expertise. I believe innovation can come from anyone, regardless of their circumstances. And I believe lasting change begins when we choose to listen.
